About
The Practice
Welcome
to our practice and to visiting our web site. Our practice of Oral
and Maxillofacial Surgery is dedicated to providing the patient
with the most caring and highest quality of therapy that can be
provided. It is our goal to provide our services not only in a caring
and compassionate manner, but to provide the patient, and his relatives,
with knowledge and concepts that will enable the patients to make
educated judgements and decisions. To this end, the office has the
most modern educational and computerized materials that will aid
the patients in their consultations and to better understand what
an Oral and Maxillofacial surgeron can do as part of the dental
health team, and as a provder of total health care for the patients.
This
office is dedicated to bringing to our patients the latest in equipment,
technology and expertise. Since this priority is so important, Dr.
Donald B. Lurie constantly attends continuing-education seminars
and courses. In addition, the staff which consists of 3 R.N's, in
addition to secretarial and management personnel, also attend continuing-education
centers as we strive to obtain the goals that are pledged to our
patient population.

with reconstruction of the jaws via implants or augmentation(grafts)
as needed. Wisdom tooth surgery, cancer surgery and screening, medical
evaluations, trauma, as well as dentoalveolar surgery are an integral
part of the practice.
It
has been an interesting and mutually rewarding career between staff
and patients. Patients have been referred locally and world-wide
by fellow dentists, physicians and patients themselves. The interaction
between staff and patients has been the most rewarding experience
of all. Welcome to the FAMILY.
